In short
- Reading every note is free. Premium and Premium+ are paid subscriptions that renew until you cancel.
- Paid plans start with a 7-day free trial. Cancel before it ends and you pay nothing.
- You can cancel any time, and you have 14 days to withdraw from a new subscription.
- AceMed is a study aid. It is not medical advice, and it is not connected to any university.
- AI answers and practice grades can be wrong. Always check against your official materials.
1. About these terms
These terms are an agreement between you and Mohamed Elhag, a sole trader based at 103 Gotse Delchev Blvd., Strelbishte, 1000 Sofia, Bulgaria, who runs AceMed at myacemed.com (“AceMed”, “we”, “us”).
By creating an account or using AceMed, you accept these terms. Please also read our Privacy notice, which explains how we handle your personal data.
If you are a consumer, nothing in these terms takes away the rights you have under Bulgarian and EU consumer law.
2. Who can use AceMed
You must be at least 18 to use AceMed.
Each account is for one person. Keep your password safe, don't share your account, and tell us at info@myacemed.com if you think someone else is using it.
Please give us accurate details, including your university, programme and year, so we can show you the right syllabus.
3. What AceMed is
AceMed is an online study platform for students of Medicine and Dental Medicine in Bulgaria. It offers study notes organised by university syllabus, and tools such as highlights and margin notes, Ask AI, smart recall, a study planner, a focus timer and Professor Mode (a practice oral exam).
AceMed is independent. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or acting for any university. University names are used only to describe which syllabus a note follows, and remain the property of their owners. Syllabi are based on publicly available information and may differ from what your department currently examines.
What each plan includes is shown on the Plans section and in your account.
4. A study aid, not medical advice
We prepare our notes carefully against each syllabus and work hard to keep them accurate. Even so, we cannot guarantee that any note is complete, current or error-free, or that using AceMed will lead to a particular exam result.
AceMed does not replace your lectures, textbooks, official university materials or announcements. Always check what will be examined with your university.
Nothing on AceMed is medical advice. Do not use it to diagnose or treat anyone, or to make clinical decisions.
Found a mistake? Report it from the note or write to info@myacemed.com. We review every report and correct confirmed errors.
5. AI features
Ask AI and Professor Mode use an AI model provided by a third party (see the Privacy notice). You are interacting with an AI system, not a person.
- AI answers are generated automatically and can be wrong, incomplete or out of date. Check them against your notes and official materials.
- Professor Mode grades (2–6) are practice feedback only. They are not an official assessment and do not predict your real grade.
- Do not enter personal data about other people, including patients, or sensitive information about yourself.
We may limit how often the AI features can be used, to keep them fair and available for everyone.
6. Group classes (coming soon)
Weekly online group classes for Premium+ are not available yet, and no plan includes them or charges for them today. Before they start, we will add how booking, rescheduling and taking part work to these terms and tell you.
7. Plans, prices, trials and renewal
Free lets you read every note and track your progress. Premium and Premium+ are paid subscriptions billed monthly, every 6 months or yearly. Prices are in euro and include VAT where it applies. The price, billing period and renewal price are always shown before you confirm.
Free trial. Paid plans start with a 7-day free trial, once per person. If you don't cancel before the trial ends, your plan starts automatically and you are charged for the first billing period.
Renewal. Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period, at the price shown when you subscribed, until you cancel.
Cancelling. You can cancel any time from your account or by writing to info@myacemed.com. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep access until the end of the period you have paid for. Apart from your withdrawal right (section 8) and any other refund required by law, we don't refund partly used periods.
Price changes. If we change the price of your plan, we will tell you at least 30 days before your next renewal at the new price. You can cancel before then if you don't want to continue.
Payments are processed by Stripe Payments Europe Ltd. (Ireland). We do not see or store your full card details.
8. Your 14-day right of withdrawal
If you are a consumer, you can withdraw from a paid subscription within 14 days of your first payment for it, without giving a reason.
Because you ask us to give you access straight away, if you withdraw we refund everything you paid minus a proportionate amount for the days of paid access you have already had. We refund within 14 days of receiving your withdrawal, using the same payment method, at no cost to you.
To withdraw, send us a clear statement, for example by email to info@myacemed.com. You can use the model form at the end of these terms, but you don't have to. It is enough to send it before the 14 days end.
9. Fair use
When using AceMed, you agree not to:
- copy, download in bulk, publish, sell or share our notes, flashcards, questions or other content outside your own personal study;
- share your account or give others access to paid features;
- scrape, crawl or copy AceMed with automated tools, or use our content to train AI models;
- try to break, overload or get around the security or access limits of AceMed;
- upload or write anything unlawful, offensive, or that infringes someone else's rights;
- harass or insult anyone at AceMed or other students.
If you seriously or repeatedly break these rules, we may suspend or close your account (see section 12).
10. Our content and yours
The notes, flashcards, questions, illustrations, software and design of AceMed belong to us or to the people who license them to us, and are protected by copyright. We give you a personal, non-transferable licence to use them for your own study while you have an account. Some images come from Wikimedia Commons and other sources under their own licences, as credited next to them.
Your highlights, pen drawings, margin notes and answers stay yours. You give us permission to store and process them only so we can provide AceMed to you. If you send us feedback or suggestions, we may use them freely to improve AceMed.
11. Availability and changes to AceMed
We aim to keep AceMed available at all times, but it may sometimes be unavailable for maintenance, updates or reasons outside our control.
We improve AceMed all the time and may change or remove features. If we significantly reduce what your paid plan includes during a period you have already paid for, we will tell you in advance and you can cancel and get a refund for the unused part of that period.
12. Closing your account
You can ask us to delete your account at any time by writing to info@myacemed.com from your account's email address. We delete it within one month of your request. If you have a paid plan, cancel it first so it doesn't renew.
We may suspend or close your account if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms, or if we have to by law. Where possible we will warn you first and give you a chance to fix the problem. If we close a paid account when you have done nothing wrong, we refund the unused part of your subscription.
13. Our responsibility to you
We are responsible for providing AceMed with reasonable care and skill, as described in these terms.
Nothing in these terms limits our liability where the law doesn't allow it to be limited, including for harm caused intentionally or through gross negligence, for death or personal injury, or under your statutory consumer rights.
Otherwise, we are not responsible for exam results, for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable, or for losses caused by events outside our reasonable control. Within those limits, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms, for example when we add features or the law changes. For important changes we will tell you at least 30 days in advance by email or in the app. If you don't agree, you can cancel and delete your account before the changes take effect. The date at the top shows when these terms last changed.
15. Complaints and applicable law
If something goes wrong, please write to info@myacemed.com first. We aim to reply within 14 days.
If we can't solve it together, you can contact the Bulgarian Commission for Consumer Protection, which runs out-of-court conciliation for consumer disputes.
These terms are governed by Bulgarian law. If you are a consumer living elsewhere in the EU, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of your country, and you can bring a claim in the courts where you live or in Bulgaria.
