Covers the three meningeal layers around the spinal cord: the dense fibrous dura mater, the delicate arachnoid mater and the vascular pia mater, including where each ends and how it relates to the spinal nerve roots. It then describes the extradural, subdural and subarachnoid spaces, and the subarachnoid septum and dentate ligaments that support the cord.
