Anatomy Bones and Muscles · MU Pleven
217. Anterior abdominal wall, inguinal canal.
Covers the three compartments of the abdominal cavity, then the organs of the superior compartment (liver, gall bladder, stomach, spleen, duodenum, pancreas) with their surface projections on the abdominal wall. It then turns to the inferior compartment, the mesenteric small intestine and its peritoneal relations, and the appendix with its possible positions. A clinical notes table and a labelled figure of surface landmarks such as Labbé's triangle, Murphy's point and McBurney's point close the note.
