Anatomy · MU Sofia
Topographic · 239. Fasciae and connective tissue spaces of the neck.
Covers the superficial cervical fascia and the three layers of the deep cervical fascia: investing, pretracheal and prevertebral, with a table setting out each layer's site, attachments and relations, plus the carotid sheath. It then explains how these sheets divide the neck into the suprasternal space and the visceral space, which has previscereal, paravisceral and retrovisceral subdivisions, and notes how the spaces connect with those of the head and superior mediastinum.
