100. Subclavian artery

Covers the origin of the subclavian artery on each side, with the right arising from the brachiocephalic trunk and the left directly from the aortic arch, and its course beneath the clavicle into the upper limb. It explains the three parts defined by the anterior scalene muscle and lists the branches of each part, including the vertebral, internal thoracic and thyrocervical branches, with their supply areas. A mnemonic for the thyrocervical trunk's branches is included, along with the costocervical trunk.
