Covers the vascular layer of the eyeball, made up of the choroid, ciliary body and iris. The choroid is described as a pigmented, highly vascular layer with its own sublayers, listed from Bruch's membrane outwards. The iris section explains how the sphincter and dilator pupillae muscles control pupil size under parasympathetic and sympathetic innervation. The ciliary body section covers the ciliary muscle, ciliary processes, suspensory ligament and how accommodation for near vision occurs.
