PNS · 218. Extra-ocular muscles. Eyelids.
Covers the two groups of muscles inside the orbit, separating the extrinsic extra-ocular muscles from the intrinsic muscles of the eyeball. A table sets out origin, insertion, innervation and function for the seven extrinsic muscles, including the levator palpebrae superioris. The eyelids section then describes the layers from skin to conjunctiva, the tarsi and their ligaments, and the blood supply of the eyelids.
