Covers the layers of the finger in the hand, beginning with the thick, low-mobility palmar skin and its fibrous-septa-divided subcutaneous fat, then the thinner dorsal skin. It then describes the palmar and dorsal neurovascular bundles, the deep fascia, and the synovial sheaths of each digit, with the thumb and fifth digit differing from the second to fourth. It closes with the flexor tendons at proximal and middle phalanges and the dorsal aponeurosis, with two pictures included.
