39. Muscles of the forearm - anterior and lateral group
Covers the muscles of the forearm's anterior flexor compartment, arranged in superficial, intermediate and deep layers, with tables giving origin, insertion, innervation and function for each muscle. It then turns to the two lateral muscles, brachioradialis and extensor carpi radialis longus, and closes with the posterior extensor muscles in superficial and deep layers, including the thumb and index extensors. Blood supply and the antebrachial fascia are noted briefly, with pictures throughout.
Topic 38 of 236 in the MU Pleven syllabus for Anatomy Bones and Muscles (Medicine, Year 2). The free AceMed note covers it in 5 sections, about 96 words (6 min of reading), with 12 flashcards.
