Physics
Physics is taught in Year 1 of the Dental Medicine degree at the Medical University of Sofia. The syllabus runs from mechanics, solids and fluids, through oscillations, sound and ultrasound, heat, and electricity and magnetism, to optics, then atomic and molecular spectra with lasers, and finally radioactivity, X-rays and ionising radiation, ending with radionuclide and X-ray diagnostics and dosimetry.
