Preclinics of Conservative Dental Medicine

Preclinics of Conservative Dental Medicine is taught in Year 3 of the Dental Medicine degree at the Medical University of Sofia, and its syllabus runs through 53 topics. It begins with the components of the cavity form and the principles of cavity preparation, then works through Black's classes one to five, adhesive systems, pin-retained restorations and the principles of caries treatment. Amalgam, direct aesthetic, cast metal and indirect composite and ceramic restorations follow, then isolation, caries and the endodontium: access, instruments, working length, canal shaping, irrigation, obturation and posts, ending with pulp and periapical disease. AceMed has a note for every topic, about seven hours of reading, with 77 labelled pictures, 61 tables and 901 flashcards.
