Anatomy (CNS)

Anatomy (CNS) is taught in Year 2 of the Medicine degree at the Medical University of Sofia. Its syllabus opens with general principles of the nervous system and the spinal cord, then moves through the brainstem, cerebellum and diencephalon, the telencephalon, the meninges and blood supply of the brain, and finally the functional systems and pathways. AceMed has notes for all 34 topics, about two hours of reading in total, built around 166 labelled pictures with 7 tables. They trace tracts, cross-sections and ventricle boundaries step by step, and come with 352 flashcards.
