Anatomy (PNS)
Anatomy (PNS) is a Year 2 subject in the Medicine degree at the Medical University of Sofia. Its syllabus opens with the spinal nerves, from general organisation, dermatomes and the reflex arc to the cervical, brachial, lumbar and sacral plexuses and their main nerves. It then covers the cranial nerves from the oculomotor to the hypoglossal, followed by the autonomic nervous system, including its parasympathetic, sympathetic and enteric parts, and finally the sense organs and skin: receptors, smell, taste, the eye, the ear and the skin. AceMed has notes for all 44 topics, about two hours of reading, built around 148 labelled pictures with 7 tables, plus 440 flashcards.
